Turning 21 wasn't something I was entirely keen on - but I was keen on cheesecake and day dates. Joshua took me out for breakfast and gave me a sweet pop-up bunny card he'd made, it was a gloriously sunny day, I skipped uni and did some shopping instead. 21 isn't so bad I guess.
Oh, and the mother of all birthday presents meant I was able to whip up some pretty tasty treats for a little celebration. Look at it, isn't it just the perfect shade of baby blue? I think there's meant to be some sort of rule about not cooking on your birthday, but I was pretty keen to give the KitchenAid a whirl. It goes like a dream. If I needed to add any more reasons to why I'm planning on marrying that lad, surely his present selection skills are a plus.
That is truly a beautiful thing! Beautiful and practical - the perfect combination.

I am so envious right now! I have been after a Kitchen Aid food processor in a 'powdery' colour for ages now. You hold on to that boy, he is a keeper! What a fabulous idea for a 21st birthday present...in fact, I can't think of a better gift! Nigella has two, did you know? :) xx
